Place it against the wall in an out of the way corner and add vases, you have a discreet solution for storing the hundred of DVDs needed to keep your movie watching fresh. If your family is the only group you entertain, and popcorn fights negate the neat for fashion, consider a modern entertainment structure with plenty of drawers. Instead of the old cubby style of entertainment center, try picking up an old sideboard at a garage sale. Distress it a little and add some shabby chic decor items to it. Most flat screens come with a mounting stand so they can be set onto a flat surface. Center your television on top of the sideboard. This presentation board in different colors can be cut into shapes and used to label the drawers for organization. Make sure to have drawers for DVDs, video games, game accessories (memory packs, extra controllers, etc.), and anything else your family might use. The game console, DVD or Blu-ray player, and cable television box can be stacked to one side of the television or tucked neatly behind it. If you tuck it behind the television, some vine around the bottom will allow a remote signal through while hiding the electronics themselves.
